Museum & Exhibits

The museum at the Duncan Tavern Historic Center is located on the first floor and second floor of the Tavern and the first floor of the Anne Duncan House. Visitors will experience a step back into time and learn the history of the site from its building in the early 1790s to the historic preservation efforts undertaken since 1940 by the Kentucky Society Daughters of the American Revolution. This museum offers some of the finest early American and early Kentucky antiques for viewing while interpreting the Tavern’s varied and eventful history.

Young or old, the tours of this museum conducted by our professional staff will delight any visitor interested in Bourbon County, Kentucky, and American History.
